CAVINA SADAN

True to the expectation of our founder Fr. Carlo Cavina, to start houses in villages or small towns, Cavina Sadan was started in the village of Adigondanahalli, 45 kms. away from Bangalore city. It started as a formation house on 25^th April 1994,

             The main occupation of the people was agriculture and they cultivated vegetables flowers and reared cattle. Most of the people were illiterate. So apart from the formation of candidates we started a Nursery school, a tailoring class for the young girls of the village, a dispensary to assist the sick and evening coaching classes for the children of the village. We also help in the parish ministry, teaching catechism, conducting prayer meetings etc.

         Recently the agricultural fields of the people were acquired by the government and converted into housing plots for the development of the village. So many new houses have come up in this area and some people who are working in the city have settled in this village. So to cater to the educational needs of the people we started an ICSE School following the central syllabus. Thus Carlo Cavina School came into existence on 16^th October 2017. The school is in the initial stages of growth aspiring to welcome more students and serve many more people.
